Our Story

Paper Bird Flower Farm is a family-run flower farm focused on growing seasonal flowers with care and intention.

We are Jenna and Peter, partners in life and in farming, raising our son (PD) alongside the fields. Our path to flower farming did not start in agriculture. We both spent years working in healthcare and living in the city, where we began questioning the systems we were part of and what a more grounded, meaningful life could look like. Those questions eventually led us to farming.

We grow flowers in step with the seasons and the realities of our climate. Every stem is planted, tended, harvested, and arranged by hand on our farm. We do not import flowers or rely on long supply chains. What we grow is what the season allows, and we believe that limitation is part of the beauty.

Paper Bird is named for the simple act of turning something ordinary into something meaningful. That idea shapes how we farm and how we show up in our community. We believe flowers have a purpose beyond decoration. They help mark moments, bring people together, and remind us to slow down and pay attention.

We are grateful to share our flowers and our farm with you.

  • We grow so many varieties! Because we are a small farm, we grow what grows best here in Texas. Unfortunately that means that you won’t see some of the imports you are used to year-round. We grow with the seasons, which we think makes them all pretty special.
